Created my first wordpress with the following guidelines from pre-internship class:
This is to be a
professional document that you can use upon graduation to introduce yourself to prospective employers. It should never be chatty,
never be just "pretty," never be inappropriate (pink is not a
professional color and a picture of you at the beach is not appropriate). It is
professional. Keep that in mind as you're re-working these.

Word Press
The landing pages should be clean, professional and to the point. You welcome people and invite them to explore your site. No chattiness. In fact, all pages should be professional. The template chosen should "look" professional. This is like a "business card" that you can hand to someone and should reflect you as a career person. This is not a "souvenir album" or a "creative project." This is strictly professional.

Why Facebook for advertising
Facebook is currently taking over the web. Why is it good for advertisers?
Advertisers can buy demographic information and specific search information straight from Facebook. The information may include (but is not limited to) name, age, sex, region, interests, marital status, religion, political views, or even places they go. With this detailed information advertisers can specifically target users with messages that will appeal directly to them. This makes advertising more effective. The best thing about it is that if advertising companies invest in this idea it will create more jobs for advertisers because each products ads will be altered and changed to fit the demographics and multiple campaigns will be available on each product.

Creating a print design
InDesign print with folds:
Start with a page:
Once you have the pages:
To make square shaped:
Start with a page:
- landscape
- .25in margins
- number of pages 2
- take off facing pages
Once you have the pages:
- measure how far in until you meet fold
- for a brochure 3'11/16ths + 3'11/16ths and 3'5/8th
click side ruler to make line mark- click hold ruler corner drag to line to move the zero mark
- put line .25in margins on side of folds
To make square shaped:
- 10in by 10in
- no margins
- Lines at 2 1/2 and 7 1/2 on top and bottom
- use ellipses tool to make a circle for petals
- delete half circle using hollow select
- copy and flip it for all corners
- use stroke square to fill each with color
- zoom to corners to join corners to make one picture
